Employees Housing Help Near Shaker Square. |
June, 2008
There's some good news for the
Ludlow neighborhood and for persons who work for
nonprofit institutions in or near
University Circle who are interested in moving here. Depending
on the employer, from $5,000 to $15,000 in help in the form
of forgivable loans is available. Current Ludlow homeowners
take note: remodeling help is also available through this
program.
Over the next five years the
initiative plans to offer a total of $4 million in grants
and forgivable loans. Included in this new program are Ludlow
homes located in the City of Cleveland.

Gifts of more than $8,000 have been received,
to be used for our Association and for youth programming.
Reporter Brian Trapp's story on page one of
the March 13 Sun Press captured the spirit of the
afternoon. Too often it's the tales of violence that get web
exposure. To make a description of this positive
"happening" available widely and for a long time, we've
archived the story on our website.

Also visit the pages of the Shaker Arts
Council, which along with Verlezza Dance and our
association, sponsored the event. You'll find many
photos of the concert and the
concert program.
